Mercedes E63 AMG gets a new 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine

Model-2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG is now even stronger and more effective. High-Performance Cars now benefit from a new 5.5-liter V8 bi-turbo engine. This unit can also be found in the new CLS 63 AMG is a 525 hp to 557 hp with theoptional AMG Performance Package.

E63 AMG consumer 9.8 liters per 100 km (10.0 liters Estate), the combined NEDC, in other words, 22 percent less than its predecessor, the AMG 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, of course.

The eight-cylinder power plant, designed as an internal M 157, a combination of innovative high-tech components: spray-guided gasoline direct injection with piezo injectors, that an all-aluminum crankcase includes four valves per cylinder camshaft adjustment, an air / water intercooler, generator control and stop / start system.

Acceleration from zero to 100 km / h takes 4.3 and 4.2 seconds with the optional AMG Performance (Real Estate: 4.4 and 4.3 seconds) and top speed is limited electronically to 250 km / h.

Despite increased production, higher torque and better performance, new E 63 AMG shows an improvement of 2.8 liters of fuel compared to the previous model with a V8 engine, of course.
