10 Best Selling Cars in America in May, 2011
No wonder
that three major Japanese car saw a sales decline since May 2010. Toyota has the most, in a massive 27.9% in May 2010. Two other major Japanese brands have been less affected, but there was a marked decrease. Honda 16.1%, while Nissan was 9%.

1. Ford F-Series: 42,399 cars
2. Chevy Silverado: 28,409 cars
3. Chevy Malibu: 25,600 cars
4. Nissan Altima: 25,525 cars
5. Ford Fusion: 24,666 cars
6. Ford Escape: 23,140 cars
7. Hyundai Sonata: 22,754 cars
8. Chevy Cruze: 22,711 cars
9. Ford Focus: 22,303 cars
10. Hyundai Elantra: 20,006 cars

Moreover, as Ford and GM sales of aircraft last year, lost 0.1% and 1.2% respectively. While Chrysler saw sales rise by 10% with their best May since 2008. Toyota passed Chrysler and Honda was the third best selling car in U.S. in May after GM and Ford.
