New 2010 Toyota Prius
Toyota Prius is one of the most popular cars on the planet. Not for his performance or style, but because it was the first mass-produced hybrid-electric car. First released in 1997, the Prius is more than ten years old and was best-selling hybrid car in the world.

So what's new for 2010 model of the world famous car?

MPG has again improved, averaging 50 miles per gallon for the new model. Not a bad improvement over 41 MPG are available from the first generation Toyota Prius.
There were also a number of other improvements throughout the car, including IPA (Intelligent Parking Assist), touch buttons (on the handlebars), and heads-up display that fuel, energy and other useful information displays.

They have also tried to support the weight of the materials to save the new Prius is 20% lighter transaxle and inverter. They also save weight by using aluminum calipers, rear, front and hood.

As always familiar with eco-car from Toyota, the emphasis on energy conservation. They tried this with three different driving modes to achieve. Eco Mode helps the driver to get the best mileage than cars to get EV Drive mode allows you ride on the battery alone at low speeds, power mode sensitive throttle, which makes the car a sportier feel.
They also added LED lights, lights to save energy, and the use of more powerful four-cylinder engine. Can you believe that a bigger engine will reduce mileage, but in reality is greater than the larger amount of torque.

Perhaps the most impressive change, however, and air conditioners, automotive entertainment, and both are powered by solar panels is full. The introduction of solar cooling system, Toyota became the first car company to use technology. Air circulation pump (including solar), prevents the temperature rise when the car was not used, thus reducing air cooled when the driver of the vehicle back. Toyota also managed another industry first with its devices that allow drivers to run when the engine is off, so that the optimum temperature may exist for the departure.

Toyota seems to listen to feedback from its customers for using that insight to their vehicles. Handling is sharpened, improved acceleration and reduced noise, making the Prius the best we've seen so far.

However, Toyota still builds on the concept of the Prius, but continues to improve. Yes, it's still the same "carriage" style and performance is likely to impress many car enthusiasts. With that said, it certainly improved in the last model and has some impressive and innovative technology.
